All visits are by appointment only as we need to know which dogs are coming in and to allow time for treatments and paperwork after each session.

If you are unable to make any of our opening times we are able to make special bookings outside of opening hours. Please contact us for more details.

 Insurance

Check with your pet insurance provider, as some may cover the cost of rehabilitation for your dog. This is due to hydrotherapy being recognised as a form of rehabilitation and because we are registered with the Canine Hydrotherapy Association they will help pay for your dogs sessions. Please contact us for more details on how to do this.

 Veterinarian Referral

All dogs receiving hydrotherapy must either have a referral from your vet to ensure they are in good health. This includes those dogs who are coming in for a fitness swim. A referral form must be completed before treatment is undertaken. The form can be emailed to you or collected from the centre or we can personally obtain a completed referral from your vet before proceeding with treatment. Your vet may wish to see your dog before completing a referral form.

 On the Day

Please ensure that your dog has not eaten 2-3 hours before its session. Please also allow them to go to the toilet before the session starts, there are fields onsite for this.

At their first session, your dog's weight and measurements will be taken. They will be taken every 5 to 10 sessions thereafter, allowing us to monitor their progress and ensure we are achieving our goals.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs must be brought in to the centre on leads which will be removed once inside and a harness or lifejacket will be fitted once the dog has been showered.
